Gina K. Designs New Release 9-2019

Hi there! I hope you are having a good week. I wanted to share a couple of cards with you from the Gina K. Designs Newest Release. I used the Card Kit Autumn Splendor stamp set – Colossal Cone Flowers and the Stamp Set – Majestic Peony.

First card I used the Colossal Cone Flowers Stamp set & the Majestic Peony Stamp Set for the greeting! I smooched Distress Ink on a craft Matt a Yellow color and a green, then spritzed with water and placed a piece of watercolor paper on top of the ink. I deliberately left a area open at the top so I could add a blue to look like a sky. Did the same smooching technique! πŸ˜‰ When it was dry I placed it in my Misti and inked up the Image & the Greeting with Obsidian – Amalgam Ink. Finished it off with some bling from my stash.

Gina K. Designs:

Stamp Set – Colossal Cone Flowers
Pure Luxury Card Stock – White Heavy Base, Black Onyx
Premium Dye Ink -Honey Mustard on the inside.
Amalgam Ink – Obsidian
Adhesive Dot Runner, Connect Glue, & Foam Squares

Other Items:
Watercolor Paper (Arches Cold Press), Bling from my stash, & Distress Inks

I have a feeling this set will be used a lot! ❀

The second card is one made with the Majestic Peony Stamp Set. I heat embossed it using Gina K. Designs Silver Embossing Powder and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

  1. So pretty! For the Colossal Coneflower did you stamp the flower in black over the smooshed background and then add extra color to the flower? Thanks Karen!
